Tascam: Power Supplies

Tascam is credited as the company that invented the Portastudio, the first cassette-based multi-track home studio recorder. People often refer to any brand of 4-track cassette recorders as a \"portastudio\" although this term is \"owned\" by Tascam. In the 1970\'s and 1980\'s Tascam is one of four divisions of Teac Corporation, headquartered in Japan.
Today Tascam produces GigaStudio, a software sampler. It also continues to supply a variety of continually updated products for sound recording and production.
