Delivery Times
We aim to despatch all orders within 1 - 10 working days.
If we are not going to be able to do this we will inform you via email. We may offer alternative products similar to the ones you ordered which can be supplied in a shorter time frame. This is not obligatory but is simply part of our dedication to
the best in customer services. The decision lies with you as to what to do in all circumstances.

Delivery Charges
For UK Mainland Delivery the charges are as follows:
- If you spend up to £6 the shipping is £0.95 - 'Royal Mail 1st Class' delivery service
- Between £6 and £30 the shipping is £3.75 - Interlink Express next day delivery service or 'Royal Mail 1st Class' delivery service
- Between £30 and £69 the shipping is £4.95 - Interlink Express next day delivery service or €˜Royal Mail 1st Class Registered Post€™ delivery service
- For orders over £69 the shipping is £7.95 - Interlink Express next day delivery service
- FREE For orders over £120 the shipping is included free Interlink Express next day delivery service

Delivery Methods
We always use a delivery method with the appropriate level of insurance for your delivery.
We have learned over the years the best ways to pack items to minimise transit damage. We often recycle packing material and use a variety of different packing techniques including the use of staples, so please take care when opening deliveries. Delivery methods are continually reviewed to ensure that our delivery partners are offering the high level of service that we would expect you to recieve.

Orders under £28 are sent ‘Royal Mail First Class’ or by courier, depending on the weight of your order.
Royal Mail ‘aim to deliver most First Class mail by the next working day, including Saturdays’.

Order over £28 are sent ‘Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day’ or by next day courier, depending on the weight of your order.
The next day courier used for delivery of your order will usually be Interlink Express.

International Delivery is at our discretion and is nominally charged at £49.99 within Europe Zone 1 (Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Austria, Denmark, Switzerland*, Czech Republic, Italy, Slovakia, Spain, Estonia, Croatia*, Finland, Hungary, Norway*, Poland, Portugal, Sweden and Slovakia). This means that if you make a purchase for international delivery without contacting us first, you may pay more than you need to.

Due to the light weight and small dimensions of books, we are able to despatch them to anywhere in the world.
There is no extra charge for delivery within Europe Zone 1 (Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Austria, Denmark, Switzerland*, Czech Republic, Italy, Slovakia, Spain, Estonia, Croatia*, Finland, Hungary, Norway*, Poland, Portugal, Sweden and Slovakia)
For anywhere else in the world, there is simply a surcharge of £4.99 per book. Please add this product to your basket. Please ensure you adjust the quantity to reflect the number of books you are ordering.

UK Non Mainland and Republic of Ireland Deliveries
All orders over £120 qualify for free delivery within the UK mainland. Delivery to the Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands, Channel Islands and Republic of Ireland is classed as an across water delivery which is £15.29 extra on top of UK Mainland Delivery.

Failed Delivery
If an item is sent out and subsequently returned to us as undeliverable, we will request further delivery charges to be paid before redelivering an item.
If the courier is unable to deliver your item, they will leave calling cards and then keep the item at the local depot for collection. They will normally keep your item for a week. If you do not collect your item within this time, the courier will return your item to us at our cost including a third party collection surcharge. This means that we will not redeliver your item until you have both paid for the redelivery and also paid for the cost of returning the item via courier.
The standard courier delivery charge is £10. The standard Courier return (including third party collection surcharge of £5) is £15. This means that you must pay a further £25 minimum before we will redeliver a courier item that has been returned.
For these reasons we highly recommend you collect courier items from the depot before they are sent back to us.
If the delivery fails because the address you supplied is incorrect, we will have to charge you again for redelivery. However, if you get in touch with us before the courier bring is back to us (normally around 3 - 5 days) then there will only be a £15 charge to pay. If you leave it until the item is brought back to us by the courier then you will have the full £25 charge to pay if you want it to be redelivered.
If you decide to cancel the order instead, the standard courier return charge of £15 will be deducted from your refund along with any initial delivery costs.
For international and across the water items, these charges increase proportionately.

Courier Delivery Information
- The Interlink Express next day delivery service
operates from Monday To Friday only. Saturday deliveries can be
arranged upon request and will be subject to a further charge.
- We will email you the day we despatch your order. You can expect to receive the item soon after the email is sent.
- Interlink Express will attempt to deliver at some point between 8am and 5pm - we can not arrange a specific time of delivery.
- If Interlink Express are unable to deliver, they
will put a card through your letterbox which will have details of when
the delivery was attempted and contact information for your local depot
where your order will be held.
- Interlink Express will attempt a second
delivery at no extra charge. If not contacted by the recipient of the
order and instructed otherwise, they will make this attempt the next
day.
- Please contact your depot straight away to arrange a day when you will be in to receive your order.
- If you will not be able to take the delivery of
the item and need it delivering to an alternate address you must
contact us, Interlink Express do not have the authority to deliver to
an alternate address without our authorisation.
- If Interlink Express are unable to deliver the
item a second time, you will be carded again and the item will be held
at your local depot for five working days after despatch. Please go and
collect the item as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
- If you do not collect your parcel from the
depot before 5 days are up, Interlink Express will automatically return
the parcel to us - at extra cost to us.
- Any subsequent redelivery will be subject to a
further delivery charge and will not be covered by any free delivery
offer or previous postage and packaging charge.

Royal Mail Information
All items sent in the mail are sent First Class. You can read all about Royal Mails First Class service here. For items that are worth £32 or less and are less than 1.2KG we generally use Royal Mail First Class delivery. This is because it is significantly cheaper than using our Courier service - these savings are passed on to you. If you really don't want your order to go in the mail for whatever reason - you are welcome to contact us and request a courier delivery instead. We will charge you a small surcharge dependant on what you have already paid for postage and packaging.
If your delivery does not arrive as expected:
PlayRecord.Net emails you the day we despatch your order. If it goes in the mail then the email will state this. You can assume that the day the email was sent is the day that the item was despatched in the mail.
As stated on the Royal Mail web site, First Class mail aims to deliver your letter or packet the next working day, including Saturday. We find that in the vast majority of cases they achieve this turn around time. However there are some occasions when it takes a little longer.
This Link will take you to the Royal Mail page with information for late mail. To summarise, they ask you to wait at least 15 days before assuming that the items has definitely been lost. If after 15 days you have not recieved your item, please contact us and we will issue an insurance claim and despatch the item again for you. If you decide you want a refund instead, please be aware that we are not able to issue a refund until the 15 day period is up. If the item turns up in this time and you still want to cancel the order, you have seven days to return the item to us as stated on the Returns Page.

USA Customers
The only items we can ship to the USA are small items that can go in the mail. This includes books, strings, DVD's etc. For each small item such as this that you want us to ship, you will need to add one of this product to your basket:

More Information
- All delivery prices are inclusive of postage and packaging costs.
- All orders are fully inspected for damage and are well packaged in protective packaging materials before being despatched.
- All orders are subject to availability.
- If goods are not available for delivery within
30 days of being ordered you shall be entitled to cancel your order and
receive a full refund of any monies paid.
- Where goods become available for delivery at different times we reserve the right to deliver them in stages.
- Once the goods have been delivered to you, you
will hold them at your own risk and will be liable for their loss or
damage. We will not be liable for the loss or damage of the goods once
they have been delivered to you.
- We reserve the right to request further proof
of identity in the form of a recent credit card statement or recent
utility bills. Failure to supply these details may result in the order
being cancelled.
- We reserve the right to withhold delivery
indefinitely for any order where we have any suspicion that fraudulent
or stolen card details are being used.
- We reserve the right to delay delivery or to
cancel the order or reduce the volume of the goods ordered by you
(without any liability to you) if we are prevented from or delayed in
the carrying on of our business due to circumstances beyond our
reasonable control including without limitation acts of God,
governmental actions, war or national emergency, riot, civil commotion,
fire, explosion, flood, epidemic, lock out, strike, or other labour
disputes (whether or not relating to either party's work force), or
restraints or delays affecting carriers or inability or delay in
obtaining supplies of adequate or suitable materials provided that if
the event in question continues for a continuous period in excess of 14
days, you shall be entitled to give us notice in writing to terminate
the order.
