The 18 year old Zelinski was convinced that Guitar design and manufacturing had hit a wall. Rock Music was huge and guitar makers were failing to keep up with the times.The world was ready for a Guitar that looked played and sounded superior to what was available from manufacturers at that time. Zelinski had a better idea. What followed was a line of Guitars that for the first time allowed players to play to their potential. With its highly visible V shaped headstock and trademark wing logo Dean has become the first boutique guitar line in the history of Rock.
