PlayRecord.Net deal with numerous schools, local authorities, government organisations and educational establishments. We understand that you need to order and be invoiced for the goods in a formal manner. We have made this really easy for you!

No Credit Account Needed

We regard schools, local authorities and educational establishments as "blue chip" by default. For this reason we do not feel the need to go through any kind of procedure to set up a credit account. This means that you can enjoy fully the convenience of online shopping for your school etc.

How to Order

Ordering is very simple indeed. Simply add all the items that your require to your basket, just as you would if you were any other shopper.

When you have selected all the items that you require, you will need to go through the checkout procedure. This is the bit where it differs slightly from shopping for your self.

Note: for simplicity, please regard "school" to imply any educational establishment, local authority etc

Create the Account in the name of Your School We need you to put all the schools details in for the account details. You can put your direct line as a contact phone number and your individual school email address as the email address. However the address details need to be for the school and please of course put the name of the school in there.
Payment Page - Select "Cheque or Purchase Order" When you select this payment option, we know that we are to expect a formal purchase order. You can mail it to:

Please include your PlayRecord.Net order number (five digit number which was emailed to you when you placed the order).

AIPS: Assisted Instrument Purchase Scheme

PlayRecord.Net are happy to participate in the assisted instrument purchase scheme. This excellent initiative allows you to supply your pupils with instruments and equipment from PlayRecord.Net without charging them the VAT. This is a big saving, as VAT currently stands at 17.5%.

The procedure for this is really simple. You order the items that your pupils require from us and we deliver them to you and you then pay us and claim the VAT back. Your accounts department or bursar will understand how it works.

We advise you to secure the funds from the pupil before you place the order. You will be liable for the postage costs to and from you if the pupil does not purchase the item and you return it.
